Fan Fiction
A by no means exhaustive selection of some of the stories I have written as a visible sign of my fangirlish obsessions for various series or characters. They take in both largely canonical and alternate universe stories as well as both one-shot stories and multipart works. Much to my embarrassment, a fair amount of this stuff is unfinished. Blame my recalcitrant muse for that, but I'm getting a hell of a lot better at finishing things than I was - perhaps because I've finally accepted the importance of planning for the successful completion of a story!
General Disclaimer: The fiction in this archive is rated PG-13 at best, reflecting an adult worldview even though most of it possesses no explicit content. Almost all my work, even if the main pairing is heterosexual, contain homoeroticism or homosexual couples; a significant proportion contains strong language and dark themes such as violence both physical and sexual, rape (normally male/male) and death, even if not mentioned explicitly. More specific content warnings will be posted for fics I feel possess a darker tone or are unsuitable for minors.
Angel Sanctuary
Eh, it had to happen. What with my massive Rociel fixation (and complementary Katan obsession) and the like it was kind of predictable that some day I would get into the fanfiction. I've got a decent amount actually finished - unlike most of my Zetsuai fics, *sigh* - but it is to be expected that there will be more coming. Unlike my Zetsuai fanfics, which are mostly A/U or parody pieces, these stories will probably not make as much sense to those with no familiarity with the series.
Replica
A one-shot fic set around about chapter sixteen of the Earth Arc. A pretty angst-ridden and intense story focusing mainly on Rociel's relationship with Katan, as well as his feelings for Alexiel, Setsuna and Sara.
The Mediator
Another one-shot, written in one evening which will probably never happen again. This one focuses on Kurai and is a my version of the events in chapter thirteen, when Sara is preparing to leave for England with her mother, from Kurai's point of view.
The Labyrinth [on hiatus]

The obligatory stupid parody fic, my other metier when I get tired of angst. I missed my Zetsuai movie parodies, so for some reason I decided to do an Angel Sanctuary version of 1980s cult movie 'Labyrinth'. Contains mad character assassination for the fun of it.
Remembrance
Another serious and angsty relationship piece about Rociel and Katan. This one is set around about chapter twenty-two of the manga as Rociel tries to cope with the thoughts and feelings stirred up by Katan's death.
Children
After doing two fics in which the focus was Rociel's thoughts I thought it was time to do the same for Katan. Set around chapter four of the manga; the story deals with his first impressions of Rociel after his resurrection.
Duplicity
My second story from Katan's perspective, set sometime during the Jahannam arc. Katan reflects on the all-too-brief time he spent with Teiarel and how knowing her has affected the way he feels for Rociel.
Behind Closed Doors
Set after the infamous 'Couch Scene' in volume three. Rociel considers his next move and the way his unwilling discovery about the nature of Setsuna and Sara's relationship colors his views of himself, Alexiel, Sara and Katan.
Angel Sanctuary in a Nutshell [on hiatus]

Inspired by 'Condensed Cain', this is my attempt to do the same thing for Angel Sanctuary. This thing, naturally, will be made a lot funnier by having a good knowledge of characters and events in the manga.
Dir en grey
Not a lot here for now; I'm no RPS ficcer and find it damn near impossible to write about actual people no matter how much I like them. At some point, she says, I will try and finish the story up here and I will try and write some more, but right now I just don't see the point in it because it's not Weiss Kreuz. Maybe I'll do it later.
Standing By Myself [on hiatus]

A massively extended version of one of my first ever non-parodic fanfictions with a completely different protagonist; in fact it retains only the central theme. It's pretty different in feel to the original and, I think, quite a bit better.
Final Fantasy VII
Again, I have as yet written only one FFVII fanfic, though I have an idea for another that I have yet to start work on. Again, it will probably help to have played the game or at least to know about the plot but... eh, it's Final Fantasy VII. Most people in the West have at least heard of the dratted game and have some kind of idea what's going on, so I don't think this is asking that much...
Atonement
This thing took me months to write. It's another weird, angsty fanfic, this time about Vincent's past. I just bet this angle has been done to death already but the idea assaulted me and refused to let me go until I'd done something with it.
Weiss Kreuz
My current fandom, where most of my recent works are located. I do like Weiss Kreuz (and I am positively obsessed with Ken Hidaka, and if this wasn't obvious already it will be by looking at my fic). It's a borderline-insane but inordinately fun series, with plenty of opportunities for angst, shounen-ai and the like. I've currently completed a good number of short pieces and parodies, and I'm reaching the end of my multi-part WIP (really). Knowing the characters and what the series is about would probaly help but if someone read the fics anyway I'd be delighted, so what do I know?

Nichts Neues
The second fic I've completed in one sitting: a vignette about Youji from the point of view of the rather interesting, not to mention aggressive and manipulative, Neu. Contains strong language and stinging bluntness.
Klarheit
A slightly longer companion piece to 'Nichts Neues', this fic - a first-person vignette - owes more than a little to my strange fixation with Ken Hidaka. Contains strong language and an utterly bewildered Ken.

Movie parody 'fun'. Presenting the Rocky Horror Picture Show. I've been trying to write this fic since I was a Zetsuai fan, but it's taken several rewrites and four cast changes to make it work. Contains song parodies and Youji hitting on anything with a pulse. You have been warned.
Pause
Ken and Omi in a park. And that's about it. I really like the way this piece came out, though. Inspired by a Gundam Wing fic I saw ages ago - my objective was to write about friendship. Set just after episode 12.
Honey Trap

A humorous interlude from a ficcer who's overdosing on angst. When Weiss are ordered to deal with a target who only ever lets his guard down when alone with a woman, it spells serious trouble for Ken...
A step forward into night
Seriously wounded during the course of a mission, Ken finds himself helplessly falling towards nothing at all, with no hope of a reprieve. This is a very bleak story indeed, and very much off-timeline.
Proximity Arc
A set of three one-shots tied loosely into the Kapitel timeline containing varying levels of Youji x Ken shounen-ai cuteness, for those who like that kind of thing.

After Kase's death and Yuriko's departure, Ken realizes that he has to choose between hanging onto the past and forging a possible future. Contains the mildest of mild shounen-ai.
Stasis
Left to recover after a successful failure of a mission, Ken loses himself in his own confused thoughts only for Youji to shatter his solitude. Contains some circumspect shounen-ai action.
Resurgence
Youji begins isolating himself after suffering a loss of his own, leaving an aggravated Ken determined to snap him out of his daze. Contains non-explicit but very specific sexual activity.

Entrapment
Youji and Ken have been trapped in any number of strange places and always managed to escape. So why can't they get out of the stock cupboard? Basic YoKen fluff because there's not enough of it, dammit!
T.M.I.
Ficlet. Ken wants to do laundry but Youji's left his clothes in the machine, leading to a strange revelation Ken could have happily lived without. Comedy, stupidity, did I mention it was short?
Die Fürsprache (bait and switch)

Even the simplest plans can go horribly wrong. Cornered by Schuldich when an apparently straightforward mission descends into chaos, Ken is made an offer he has no choice but to accept...

In the wake of Schuldich's assault on Ken during a supposedly simple mission, Youji discovers that there are some things love simply can't cure. Sequel to Die Fürsprache, contains strong language and heavy angst.

Weiss have a new teammate, a mysterious young girl with strange powers and dark secrets. What will happen when her past catches up with her? Why is nobody listening to Ken? And will they ever manage to get rid of her?
Zetsuai/BRONZE
I have a number of Zetsuai fanfictions in progress at the moment; however I have been stalled with a lot of them for some time now and do not know if I will ever manage to finish them. Every time I try, my lack of interest in the characters kicks in and I give up. The uncompleted fics will be posted here anyway as they represent many months' effort, but I cannot be sure when they will be finished, or even if they ever will as I have gone right off the series and I think my writing style was rather poor. These fics, along with some others, can be found on my (old and never updated) Zetsuai fanpage - which Geocities may have killed due to lack of updates.
Sleeping Beauty
One of my earliest parody works. A Zetsuai/Bronze parody fic, based ever-so-loosely round the plot of the fairy tale 'Sleeping Beauty'. Contains mad character assassination and rampant stupidity. A curio, really (read: it's rather stupid).
Under the Moonlight [unfinished]

God knows where my propensity for writing whacked-out Zetsuai A/Us came from. This was set in a war zone (uh?) and had the cast behaving very strangely indeed (uh, what?). Very Bad Things happen to almost everybody and looking back on it now, I think it was just plain weird.
Killing Time [unfinished]

One of the most extreme things I've written and I'm not at all sure I still like it: this fic goes up the wall and in all likelihood round the bend with it. A/U: Koji and Izumi are partners in crime and Katsumi gets horribly victimised. Contains massive angst, trauma and very dark themes.
Colonization [unfinished]

A mild AU: the settings are canonical, plot couldn't be shoehorned in anywhere, concerning as it does m/m NCS and a dangerously obsessive Akihito stalking a character he normally has very little to do with. Again, it's not much like my current work.
Original Fiction
Fairly simply, these are original stories with original characters created and written either by me or jointly by me and my friends, usually for email RPs. Most of these will be rather more experimental in nature than a lot of my fanfics, being as I have rather more freedom than I do with fanfic and I know the characters backwards. And I've finally got some of my joint fics wih Mellie and a bit of the multipart stuff up here...
Shattered
An experimental piece which very quickly became incredibly odd and spacy; an attempt to describe a quiet evening from the point of view of someone who's practically at breaking point mentally. Kinda weird and *very* angsty.
Hold Me
Written with Mellie. Made up of the opening posts to an RP we are in, this fic introduces Masaru and Yamato, one of our genkier couples. There is a lemon warning because stuff happens; I feel proud to be able to say that.
In a Person Of... [on hiatus]

An attempt to write a series that can also be taken as stand-alone stories. An experiment in writing in the first person, looking at an approximately 36-hour period of time from the perspective of five different charas. The series title comes from a Dir en grey interview.
Metamorphosis [on hiatus]

The best description for this is 'a visual rock soap opera', featuring five very strange young men. The band I created for this fic (based extremely loosely on Dir en grey) proved to have an awful lot to say - far too much to work as supporting charas in the RP they were created for.
Brief Nocturne
Another strange, quasi-experimental word picture in the ilk of 'Shattered'. The individual this piece concentrates on fascinates me - he's one of my oddest characters. Calling him a 'bundle of contradictions' would be a fair description. I enjoyed trying to get inside his head.

Fan Fiction:
'Seuche: fatal, not serious' is dragging itself back on track. I've got a good feeling about that fic for the first time in a long while - something which is due, in no small part, to the fact that I've hit the endgame head-on, and it all seems to be coming together quite nicely after all. I'm also working on, for light relief, a pastiche of the hideousness that is Mary Sue fiction entitled 'Roses in Rain' and I've started work on 'Abkürzen', a (relatively) short series about Weiss as a three-man team - my aim with that fic will be to write something like a Drama CD, only with slash. I've got a good grip on what I want from 'Zeugnis', though. My next major fic project, it'll be my first attempt at a Weiss AU - and hopefully it'll be both a little shorter than its big brother, and a lot more IC than the many Zetsuai/BRONZE AUs I tried to write ever were. Oh, and I've become intrigued by a horribly disturbing Schuldich x Ken N/C scenario involving sexual slavery, bondage and discipline, hypodermics, Stockholm Syndrome and a fair amount of mischaracterization and truly terrible porn, but it would be pure badfic so that particular plot bunny might be happiest euthanized.
My oft-delayed Dir en grey fanfiction will be getting a second part soon, I promise. I also need to get started on that FVII idea I had (more Vincent, weirdness, isolation, yadda yadda...) and in all likelihood quite a bit more Angel Sanctuary and Weiss Kreuz stuff. Sadly, 'Labyrinth' is kind of stalled at present - I've too much Weiss stuff on the go. One hopes I won't rewrite that for WK in the way I did with my now completed, thank God! Rocky Horror parody - which I've only been trying to write for about four goddam years... and then took under two weeks to complete once I started this rewrite, so go figure - but damn Aya would make a good Sarah, with Aya-chan as baby Toby... maybe not, though (read: don't know where to put Ken. If I can't work Ken in properly then I can't be bothered).
Original Fiction:
I'm having problems with this at the moment - it's called 'I'm far more interested in writing Weiss fic'. Consider most of my original fiction on indefinite hiatus. It doesn't help that I keep cannibalizing all my interesting OCs and sticking them in Weiss Kreuz fics. I do have a couple of projects I'd like to play about with at some point though, one involving two horribly fucked up guys in fucked up love which lacks a plot never mind that I know both leads, their family backgrounds and entire social network backward; the other has a bleak cyberpunk-fantasy-horror plot which intrigues the Hell out of me and wouldn't even remotely work as a Weiss Kreuz fanfic and is consequently in search of a setting. I also have a horrible feeling I'd need to create 99% of the cast from scratch where this thing was concerned (the other 1% being Shinobu Asami, who was originally created for a story of this sort and could hardly be left out), which kind of puts me off...
